Random Data.

I'm just about done my part of the english music video analysis project. We're covering Eminem's Mosh video if anyone's interested. It's pretty damn good, but I feel it was too little, too late.
Besides that, I got 90-something percent on my algebra-geometry test last week, but I had to re-install Windows 2000 on the weekend :( The good thing is, I can just delete stuff without worrying about the registry values. Ah, like the old days of DOS where the command 'delete' was your best friend and your worst enemy.

Someone was just talking about Fight Club in the 2600 IRC room #to2600, and I just googled for some quotes and found this interesting site: Timbu::Musings. This blogger has a review of Fight Club and Survivor, both books by Chuck Palahniuk. He also has a review of Lost in Translation which almost perfectly describes how I feel about the movie. Though he has mentioned The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, he hasn't given it a full treatise, so I'll do that in the next post, which will feature the top 10 segments, top 10 celebrity interviews, stuff like that.

Right now I'm listening to Modest Mouse's new Album, Good News for People Who Love Bad News. It's pretty good, as long as you skip over the interlude songs like tracks 1, 5 and 12. I don't understand why those were included. The CD reminds me of the Barenaked Ladies for some reason, maybe it's because of the instruments. Only two songs have received major air time: Float On and Ocean Breathes Salty (tracks 2 and 3, respectively). They're a good band and I recommend that you hear at least two more songs off their CD other than Float On and the Oceany one...

Restart.... $#&@.... Damnit! Restart!

Okay, I'm going to restart the blog. The topics I covered before were politics and some tech stuff. But I'm going to be shifting my focus more onto tech with a bit of focus on everything else. Expect to see reviews of CDs, movies, TV shows, etc. and essays. I'll be covering Open Source stuff for the most part and I'll be talking about the Google-Mozilla-Linux assault against Microsoft.

It's good to be back,
OptiKal Mouse.
